S3 IS A TRUE FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS. Now in our third generation as a company, we strive to maintain that small town, small time business relationship - Even though we wouldn’t consider ourselves small time. We service all of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. If the facility is in any of these states and is not a new construction building, then the chances are we provided service under the name Carolina Engine.

WE CHANGED THE NAME IN 2010 WHEN WE DECIDED TO OFFER ANOTHER QUALITY SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS. After 25 years of service and developing a household name operating as Carolina Engine, we made the very difficult move to change the name. WE CHANGED THE NAME TO S3 WHICH ENCOMPASSES “LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS” TIMES 3. Generators, Fire Pumps & Fire Suppression Systems. Ownership remains the same as well as our exceptional service. Our equipment in our 33 years has unfortunately been called on to save lives as it was intended and we are proud to say that all equipment in those instances performed to its utmost abilities.
